Banana thinning with the Urban Orchard Group
Come along and see the Urban Orchard Group at work thinning and tidying the 'Pisang Awak' bananas in the Potter Children's Garden orchard.
Visit www.urbanorchard.nz to learn more about this permaculture project to utilise neglected fruit trees in people’s gardens and share the fruits of their labour.
Group meets at 8.50 am in the Visitor Centre and will work from 9 -12 am in the Children's Garden.
