'Play Wild' book launch and craft activities
Join author Rachel Clare as she launches her new book Play Wild: Nature Craft Projects for Tamariki by giving you the chance to try out some of the craft activities in the book for yourself.
The book encourages tamariki to develop a foraging mindset by making use of what they can find, with many activities requiring only a few materials.
Come along to our visitor centre and try your hand at making a nature wristband or a magic wand.
