Ever wondered what the powerhouse of the botanic gardens looks like? Well this is the tour for you. Join us on a behind the scenes tour of our nursery where the magic starts. See where all our gardens display plant start life as seeds or cuttings, to become the beautiful flourishing plants you see in the collections. You’ll learn about how our nursery works, the types of plants we grow and what the future holds for plant propagation. You might even see some of our special threatened plant projects being carefully nurtured by our expert staff.
Please wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes.
Also please note that our nursery adheres to strict biosecurity protocols so you will be asked to clean your shoes before entering the nursery.
All ages welcome. This is a drop in session, there is no need to book or register your interest.
